By Car if you are travelling with your own transport the journey from Glasgow should take approximately 2 hours.
A82 towards Crainlarich, Tyndrum;
A85 towards Oban;
From Edinburgh allow about 2h30/45 depending on traffic;
Direction Stirling and take the A82 to Lochearnhead;
A85 via Crianlarich
From the north, direction Fort William;
A82 to Ballachulich
A828 to Oban
If you have time and would like to experience more dramatic scenary then from Fort William go in the direction of Ballachulish and turn to the Corran ferry, there are frequent ferries to take you across a very short saling to Ardgour, here towards Strontian on the A861 and 3km before Strontian turn left on to the A884 to Lochaline.
The journey will take maximum 1 hour.
By Plane Glasgow International Airport is (www.baa.com) with good bus and train links to western Scotland. Ryanair flies to Glasgow Prestwick, just about 1 hour south of Glasgow, again easy to reach by train, road and bus.

Seaplane flights leave from the Seaplane Terminal located on the River Clyde in the heart of Glasgow - enter via the Glasgow Science Centre. Flights operate from March to November each year.
Taking off from the historic shipyards of the Clyde the Tobermory flight soars over ancient castles, lochs and past mountains to the dramatic West coast. After approximately 35 minutes in the air the plane descends into the bay of the bustling harbour of Tobermory.
