Argyll House is concerned to ensure that your right to privacy online is maintained.

Information about you which you supply us will be used by us to fulfil a booking placed by you and to enable us to provide you with a better service.

We may also wish to make you aware of other goods and services available from selected third parties.

Argyll House is subject to the Data Protection Act 1998 and your rights under that Act are provided for in this policy and on the Argyll House website.

In the process of placing an enquiry online, you are asked for the following information:

You may decline to provide a telephone number or postal address, and in that case we ask you to contact us via telephone on +44 (0)1680 300555. This information is used simply so that you may be contacted at a later date with regards to your accommodation enquiry. All information provided is stored by electronic means at the Argyll House property.

Whenever you confirm a booking with us, we will ask you for your name and payment details to enable us to obtain payment for your booking. We will also ask a postal address of you to help aid fraud prevention and to dispatch the payment receipt.

This information will be stored by electronic means for the purposes of accounting and customer service.

Argyll House will use your information in order to fulfil your booking and obtain payment. Unless you have indicated that you do not wish to receive such information, we may also use your details to provide you with information from time to time about our properties, tariffs and other initiatives.

Argyll House does not share your information with any other companies or individuals except to the extent that is necessary to complete your booking and to obtain payment.

Argyll House takes appropriate steps to ensure that your privacy is maintained. Access to your personal information is restricted to those members of Argyll House staff who require such access in order to carry out their duties. Except as already mentioned we do not currently, and will not in the future, provide any of your personal information to other companies or individuals without your permission. However your credit/debit card details will need to be provided to companies who authorise and process payment. These companies will only use such information for the purposes of facilitating your payments for a booking that has been placed.

Information held about customers or residents will be retained on our computer systems for record purposes only.

Whilst this Policy has been designed to protect your privacy, no one can guarantee that data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. As a result of this whilst we maintain this Privacy Policy in order to protect your information we cannot guarantee or warrant security of any personal information that you provide us with and such transmission is made by you at your own risk.

The technology used on the Internet develops and changes rapidly and we may from time to time make changes to this Privacy Policy. Argyll House's current policy will always be displayed upon this website.
